I hope everyone is enjoying these last weeks of summer. This quarter's Hugs and Hurrahs is short and—just like all the peaches and corn at the markets here in West Michigan—extra sweet!
Two of the farm critter tale manuscripts Kathleen Clark submitted to the American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) Kingdom KitLit Contest won Honorable Mention in the Unpublished BoardBook/Picture Books category. She is truly thankful for this encouragement on her writer’s journey.

Lisa Healy has been chosen by author Erin Dealey, to be her 2024 PBRisingStars Mentee! PB Rising Stars had over 2,400 applicants, Erin was wowed by Lisa’s lyrical language.
